How To Apply

Dear Prospective Student: 

We are pleased that you have shown an interest in the Welding Program at Pearl River Community College. 

Please follow the steps below to ensure that your application is complete. 

  •  Once you receive your PRCC Student ID Number, you may complete the Welding Program Interest Form below. 
    Current PRCC students (Dual Enrollment/Dual Credit students must complete a PRCC Admissions Application) may apply at any time using their Student ID Number
  • You must eScript (preferred) or mail an Official High School/GED transcript and official transcripts from all previous colleges attended to the address below. 
  • Submit ACT Score (Phone 319-337-1313 or go online to www.act.org if scores are not included on high school transcripts.)
  • Once you complete these steps, someone from the Career and Technical Education office will reach out to you about registering for classes. This application does not guarantee you a spot in the program, but does put you on the waitlist. Spots are filled on a first-come-first-serve basis.

PRCC Welding Poplarville Campus Interest Form

PRCC Welding Interest Form (Poplarville Campus)

Students interested in applying for the PRCC Welding Program on the Poplarville Campus need to complete the form below. Individuals completing the form will now be considered for our next session once you have met with the Welding instructor.

A student who has been admitted to the college and completed the Welding interest form is not guaranteed admission to the Poplarville Welding program; the student must meet with the instructor and have been granted acceptance into the Poplarville Welding program. To set up your appointment with the instructor, please email hladner@prcc.edu or call 601-403-1240.

This form is for students interested in the Welding Program on the Poplarville Campus only. If you are interested in the Welding Program on our Forrest County or Hancock County campuses, please contact the Advising Center at advising@prcc.edu.

Each community college president is asked to bring two (2) wrapped door prizes, minimum value of $50 each. We will have a station set up at the conference for you to drop off the door prizes.

Each community college is asked to provide name tags for their Board members, administration, and staff attending the conference.
