Program Information

Accounting Technology is a 2-year program of study that is designed to prepare graduates for entry-level accounting positions in accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and inventory as well as enhance the skills of those currently employed in accounting who wish to advance.

Classroom knowledge

  • Create employment project that includes creating job acquisitions documents
  • Understand cost of production reports, financial statements, and income statements
  • Income tax project: complete a Form 1040 based on a scenario from a W-2
  • Reconciling bank statements

Each community college president is asked to bring two (2) wrapped door prizes, minimum value of $50 each. We will have a station set up at the conference for you to drop off the door prizes.

Each community college is asked to provide name tags for their Board members, administration, and staff attending the conference.
