PRCC Career Tech Works

Career and Technical Education (CTE) at Pearl River Community College is designed to prepare students to directly enter the workforce. PRCC offers various CTE paths.

Certificate of Completion Programs

Students who complete the requirements of the Cosmetology Instructor Training or Barbering Instructor Training will be awarded a Certificate of Completion.

Technical
Programs

These programs are designed to prepare students for technical positions in business and industry. Upon the completion of a prescribed curriculum, either a Technical Certificate (45 technical hours) or an Associate in Applied Science degree (AAS) will be awarded to the graduate.

Career
Programs

These programs are designed to prepare students for entry-level employment in the workforce. Upon completion of a program of study (typically 30 semester hours or more), the graduate will be awarded a Career Certificate

Each community college president is asked to bring two (2) wrapped door prizes, minimum value of $50 each. We will have a station set up at the conference for you to drop off the door prizes.

Each community college is asked to provide name tags for their Board members, administration, and staff attending the conference.
