Surgical technology information sessions set

The surgical technology program at Pearl River Community College’s Forrest County Center will hold two information sessions for potential applicants.
The sessions will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 24, and Tuesday, Sept. 22, in room 119 of the Allied Health Building, 5448 U.S. 49 South  in Hattiesburg.
PRCC’s surgical technology program offers two courses of study – one year for a proficiency certificate and two years for an associate’s degree.
Surgical technologists assist before and during surgery in a variety of settings, including hospitals, surgeon’s offices and sterile processing.
Deadline to apply for classes starting in January 2016 is Thursday, Oct. 1. For more information, contact Tammy Allhoff or Brittney Hawkins at 601 554-5542 or tallhoff@prcc.edu or bhawkins@prcc.edu.

Each community college president is asked to bring two (2) wrapped door prizes, minimum value of $50 each. We will have a station set up at the conference for you to drop off the door prizes.

Each community college is asked to provide name tags for their Board members, administration, and staff attending the conference.
