PRCC nursing student holds state office

POPLARVILLE – A Pearl River Community College student is serving as an officer in the Mississippi Organization of Associate Degree Nursing Student Association (MOSA).Sarah Wells, 21, of Poplarville is the association vice president.A graduate of Poplarville High School, she will complete PRCC associate degree nursing program in December.Ive had a lifelong ambition to be a nurse, Wells said. Her mother and aunt are nurses and her father served as a medic while deployed to Iraq with the National Guard.She is the daughter of Benjie and Lynn Wells of Poplarville.Wells and other state officers will attend the national convention Nov. 4 and 5 in Chicago.

Each community college president is asked to bring two (2) wrapped door prizes, minimum value of $50 each. We will have a station set up at the conference for you to drop off the door prizes.

Each community college is asked to provide name tags for their Board members, administration, and staff attending the conference.
