PRCC dental clinic taking appointments

HATTIESBURG – The dental hygiene clinic at Pearl River Community College is accepting appointments for the spring semester.The clinic offers exams, x-rays, cleaning, sealants, fluoride treatments and oral cancer screenings. Students perform the work under the supervision of instructors in the dental hygiene program.The students will be using new digital imaging equipment, computers and software provided through a $150,000 grant from the Asbury Foundation.Appointments are available from 1 to 5 p.m. on Tuesdays and from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1 to 5 p.m. on Thursdays.The clinic is located on the north side of the Allied Health Center at the Forrest County Center in Hattiesburg.Cost is $25 for adults and $20 for children. Each community college president is asked to bring two (2) wrapped door prizes, minimum value of $50 each. We will have a station set up at the conference for you to drop off the door prizes.

Each community college is asked to provide name tags for their Board members, administration, and staff attending the conference.
