PRCC to break ground for performing arts center

POPLARVILLE - Pearl River Community College will formally break ground next week for the Ethel Holden Brownstone Center for the Performing Arts on the Poplarville campus.The ceremony will begin at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 11, on the practice field across River Road from Moody Hall.Mac Construction Co. of Hattiesburg will build the $10.4 million state-of-the art facility, financed in part by a $4.7 million bequest from the late Ethel Holden Brownstone along with a Mississippi Arts Commission grant.
