Practical nursing students finish course

  POPLARVILLE- Graduates of the Pearl River Community College practical nursing course on the Poplarville campus and at the Forrest County Center received their certificates and pins during a ceremony on Thursday, July 27 at White Coliseum in Poplarville.
  They are now eligble to take the state licensing exams and go to work.
  Tyler Wagner of Slidell, La., was recognized as valedictorian of the Poplarville class, a member of Phi Theta Kappa honor society and special honors graduate. Salutatorian Hilary Smith of Petal graduated with honors.
  Valedictorian of the Forrest County Center class was Emma Haynes of Tulsa, OK, who graduated with special honors, and salutatorian was Sarah Siders of Sumrall, who graduated with honors.
  Graduates from the Poplarville program include Meagan Lee of Picayune, PTK member and honors graduate; Calli Poche of Picayune, honors; Haylee Pierce of Columbia, PTK; Shalon Lopez, Brittany Marlborough and Tanesha Roche, all of Picayune; Angela Duncan, KaShandra Peters and Hailey Shoemake, all of Poplarville; Arica Bennett and Felicia Mitchell, both of Carriere; Mia Magee and Carrie Welborn, both of Hattiesburg; Jasmine Adams of Bassfield, Tiana Davis of Jackson Ashley Farmer of Wiggins, Waynika Hampton-Norris of Slidell, La., Kristi King of Sumrall, Kaisha Natiel of Diamondhead, Seth McCain of Columbia and Veronica Sanders of Perkinston.
