Night carpentry class coming up

  POPLARVILLE – Pearl River Community College will offer a basic carpentry class at night during the fall semester in Poplarville.
  The course will meet from 4:30 to 9:30 p.m. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, beginning Aug. 15 and ending Nov. 16.
  Cost is $250. The course will offer CPR certification along with industry recognized certificate in carpentry with applications for 10-hour OSHA certification, basic lift truck operator OSHA certification, NCCER credentials in introductory craft skills and Level I carpentry.
  Applicants must be 18 before class starts and provide an application, clean drug screen results at their expense and receipt from the PRCC business office for full payment.

Each community college president is asked to bring two (2) wrapped door prizes, minimum value of $50 each. We will have a station set up at the conference for you to drop off the door prizes.

Each community college is asked to provide name tags for their Board members, administration, and staff attending the conference.
