POPLARVILLE, Miss—The crowd in Pearl River Community College’s Ethel Holden Brownstone Center rose to their feet for a joyful noise Tuesday night as seven-time Grammy nominated Christian artist Natalie Grant performed on stage.
Grant performed songs throughout the night that brought tears to the audience’s eyes including a ballad during which she invited one of her daughters on stage with her. She also spoke of her personal ups and downs and how those struggles have shaped her life journey.
“As I went in to record ‘More Than Anything’ I sang the words ‘Help me want The Healer more than the healing’ and to be honest I still wanted the healing,” Grant said. “It was a miracle what He did to my heart and how He changed me.”
“We were honored to have Natalie Grant perform at the Brownstone Center,” Director of Ethel Holden Brownstone Center for the Arts, Dr. Trevor Hunt said. “The fine arts department loves having the opportunity to offer experiences like this to our Wildcat Family and the community at large.”
