Graphic Designer

Recruiter
Location:  All Campuses 
Overview:  Recruiter will source and attract prospective students and act as liaison while assisting them through the entire onboarding process. Recruiter will facilitate relationships with all high school counselors, career center managers, career/technical center counselors, etc… and pridefully represent PRCC while participating in various events and via several communication venues.
Responsibilities:

  • Establish a positive working relationship with all prospective students and influencers.
  • Follow-up with and respond to all inquiries from prospective students and assist them through the entire onboarding process.
  • Able to work a flexible schedule including night and weekend activities.
  • Able to travel freely to all in-district high schools and career centers (valid driver’s license required). 
  • Participate in the planning and execution of all on and off-campus events.
  • Responsible for the dissemination of recruitment materials.

Filter Technician
Location:  Poplarville and all other campuses
Overview:  To inspect, maintain, and replace filters and perform minor preventative maintenance on heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) equipment on all campuses in order to maintain efficiency and mechanical integrity of HVAC units while fully supporting and maintaining the integrity of the institution at all times.
Responsibilities:

  • Replaces filters in all HVAC units districtwide; adding drain tablets
  • Disposes of dirty filters properly
  • Monitors and reports to supervisor the levels of HVAC filters for reordering
  • Tracks replacement of filters and maintains replacement schedule
  • Reports HVAC-related problems and assists in preventative maintenance of HVAC equipment
  • Assists in removal, repair, and reinstallation of HVAC equipment
  • Performs minor preventative maintenance including inspecting/replacing belts and greasing bearings
  • Complies with all applicable health and safety regulations, policies, and established work practices
  • Other duties as assigned

Adult Education Academic Assistant Teacher
Reports To:  Director of Adult Education 
Location:  Poplarville
Status:  Full-Time / 10 Months
Position Summary:  Assists adult education students in the AE, ESL and Smart Start classes. Works alongside AE Instructors and Staff to ensure adult learners complete a high school equivalency diploma, career certificate or transition to college enrollment. Aids AE instructors by grading papers, record keeping, or any clerical tasks. 

Essential Functions: 

  • Assists in AE, ESL or Smart Start classroom daily for student success.
  • Conduct open lab times to provide remediation for AE students. 
  • Administers learning assessments with ESL students. 
  • Accurately inputs data, assessments and student records for ESL students. 
  • Advises and assists adult education students with workforce career pathway opportunities and/or college enrollment. 
  • Works alongside adult education staff to ensure student success by providing clerical tasks, as needed by AE Director and/or AE Coordinator. 
  • Actively promotes and markets Adult Education throughout six county district. 
  • Represents PRCC Adult Education department by making presentations to publicize services and program offerings. 

Minimum Qualifications:  

  • Associates Degree for an accredited institution is required. 
  • Previous education experience or adult education experience is preferred. 
  • Ability work cooperatively with other divisions within the College.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to accomplish tasks, meet deadlines, and ability to learn and interpret policies and procedures.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel off-campus.

Chief of Police
Location:  Poplarville
Job Description/Overview:  This position will serve as Chief of Police for the Poplarville Campus. Duties will include, but are not limited to: performing law enforcement functions to include enforcing state, local, and federal laws and PRCC rules and regulations;  responding to emergency calls involving crimes, disturbances, accidents, personal injuries, etc.;  investigating and writing reports of violation of law, PRCC rules and regulations, accidents, complaints, etc.; and interacting with students, faculty and staff involving safety and other related issues. Chief will work closely with Director of Public Safety in assuring all safety policy and procedures are followed in order to make PRCC’s campus a healthy and safe environment throughout the year.
Status:  FT / 12 months
Education/Experience:  Successful completion of the basic curriculum approved by the Board of Law Enforcement Officer Standards and Training.  Four (4) years of experience in law enforcement and supervision of personnel required.  Four (4) years of experience as a sworn law enforcement officer.

Radiologic Technology Instructor
Location:   Forrest County Center
Job Description/Overview: The Radiologic Technology Program is seeking to add a full time instructor to expand and meet the needs of our community.  The Radiology Instructor will correlate closely with the needs of the program director and clinical coordinator with didactic education to include classroom, laboratory activities, and the clinical component of the program to include any additional grading deemed necessary of the program director or clinical coordinator. Courses will be assigned to the instructor by the program director.   Instructor will evaluate students during each course assigned, and must support the program director and clinical coordinator.  Instructor must assure effective program operation and must be able to teach an effective class using a mixture of lecture, video, and other tools to make the class an interesting, and engaging environment for the student.   This includes maintaining and operating courses online and in the Canvas platform which is evolving semesterly.  Additional duties may involve supporting the department of medical imaging activities and goals.  This list may not be all inclusive.  Other responsibility and duties may be required and may change as job demands change and program evolves to meet the needs of the community, program, and college.

Surgical Technology Instructor

Job Description/Overview:  The Surgical Technology Program is seeking hire 2 full time instructors and 1 Adjunct.   Full time instructors will work a minimum of 30 hours per week.
