Instructor of Music and Assistant Director of Bands (Poplarville):   Applications for the position of Instructor of Music and Assistant Director of Bands (Poplarville) are currently being received.  Pearl River Community College is seeking a highly skilled professional with a required Master’s degree in music.  Interested applicants must have appropriate graduate hours in Music including an emphasis in woodwinds and piano and experience as a successful band director at the high school or college level.  Individuals must have a thorough understanding of the use of technology as a supplemental instructional tool and express an aspiration toward life-long learning and an awareness of working as a member of a departmental team.  Duties will include but are not limited to: instructor of lecture and/or lab/theory classes as well as individual lessons, assisting in all assigned band duties, membership on college committees, sponsorship of student organizations, and advisement of Music and General Studies students.
