  • Pearl River Community College is now accepting applications for the position of First-Year Experience (FYE) Orientation Coordinator. This 12 month, full-time position requires a Master’s degree with minimum of two years professional experience in higher education coordinating freshmen orientation or related field. The main objective of this program will be to plan, implement, and execute the college-wide orientation program for freshmen students, helping them to transition to campus, successfully start their first semester, and to connect first-year students with the college culture through ongoing engagement activities. 

    Qualifications include: proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills; excellent organizational skills; effective leadership skills; effective presentation skills; and the ability to work within a diverse faculty and student population.
