Instructor of English
Location:  Hancock Center
Overview/Job Description:  Personnel interested in the position must have appropriate graduate hours in English. Individuals must have a thorough understanding of the use of technology as a supplemental instructional tool and as a tool for accomplishing tasks in the workplace. The applicant must express an aspiration toward life-long learning and an awareness of working as a member of a departmental team. Duties will include but are not limited to: instructor of lecture and/or lab classes, membership on college committees, sponsorship of student organizations, administration of proctored tests, and advisement of students in English related fields as well as General Studies students. While this position will primarily be located at the Hancock Center, applicants should be prepared to travel to any PRCC location as well as teach online.

Instructor of Electronics Technology
Location:  Poplarville
Overview:  Qualified applicants should have a minimum of an Associate’s degree.  Experience working in the field of electronics is required. Surgical Technology Instructor
Location:  Forrest County Center
Job Description/Overview:  The Surgical Technology Program is seeking to build an adjunct applicant pool.  Potential adjuncts will be needed to work 8 – 12 hours per week beginning August 2020.  Adjunct positions will involve instructing Surgical Technology Program didactic and lab-based courses as well as supervising students in the clinical setting.
Status:  Adjunct
Educational Requirements/Work Experience:  All applicants must have a minimum of two years of experience, either in the operating room scrub role, or as an instructor in surgical technology, or a combination of both, within the 5 past years and must hold current CST or CSFA credentials.

Overview:  Seeking a highly skilled registered nurse

Educational Requirements/Work Experience:  Associate’s degree in nursing and 3 years clinical experience as a registered nurse, and an unencumbered nursing license in the state of Mississippi, as required by state licensing agency.

Instructor of Medical Laboratory Technology
Location:  Forrest County Center
Status:  Full-time (12-months)
Educational Requirements/Work Experience:
The Program Director/Instructor must be a medical laboratory professional who:

  • has an earned master’s or doctoral degree
  • holds ASCP‐BOC or ASCPi -BOC generalist certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist/Medical Technologist
  • has three years of teaching experience
  • has knowledge of education methods and administration as well as current NAACLS accreditation procedures and certification procedures
