Pearl River Community College is now accepting applications for the position of Garvin H. Johnston Library Public Services Librarian (Poplarville).  Qualified applicants should have a Bachelor’s Degree in Library and Information Science from an ALA accredited Library Science Program.  Individuals must have a thorough understanding of the Dewey Decimal System, experience with OCLC cataloging system, and have an awareness of working as a member of a departmental team.  Duties will include but are not limited to:  overseeing daily operations at the Garvin H. Pearl River Community College is now accepting applications for the position of G Instructor of Unmanned Aerial Systems Technology.  This is a full-time (9 month) professional grant-funded position.  Pearl River Community College is seeking a highly skilled individual with credentials certifying qualifications. Must provide certificates received that substantiate instructor/operator training. FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate with small UAS rating required. FAA Private Pilot or better rating preferred. Desired skills include UAS instructor experience performing in the classroom, field training, and hands-on flight training. Must be proficient in multirotor and fixed wing UAS manual flight control. Understand current FAA guidance regarding UAS operation in National Airspace. Manage radio communications when operating in all classes of airspace while operating in an airport environment. Perform instruction at multiple levels depending on student knowledge / capability; provide classroom instruction, hands-on training, and operating UAS.

Pearl River Community College’s Occupational Therapy Assistant Program is now accepting applications for the position of Instructor of Occupational Therapy Assistant Technology (Clinical) (11 Mos). Pearl River Community College is now accepting applications for the position of Mathematics Laboratory Instructor (9 Mos) (FCC).  This is a full-time, professional position located at the PRCC Forrest County Center in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.  Applicants interested in this position must have a bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in mathematics.  Individuals must have a thorough understanding of the use of technology as a supplemental instructional tool, willingness to be a team member of the department, and have an attitude that enhances student learning.   Duties will include but are not limited to:  Instructor of Mathematics for Mathematics Laboratory, instructor of mathematic courses, (both lab based and lecture), membership on college committees, sponsorship of student organizations, and advisement of students in mathematics related fields as well as general studies students.  For further information, contact Ms. Jacki Runnels at jrunnels@prcc.edu.
