Spring registration extended

  POPLARVILLE – Registration for the spring semester at Pearl River Community College has been extended through 4 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 20.
  The extension applies to traditional classes for the whole term and first term, second-term eight-week and four-week classes and weekend classes at the Poplarville, Forrest County Center and Hancock Center campuses.
  Registration for whole term and first-term eight-week on-line classes ends at 4 p.m. Friday, Jan. 15

  Second term classes begin March 7. Those offered on the Poplarville campus include personal/community health, computer applications I and English composition I.   Weekend classes include world literaure I, world civilization I and II and American history I and II.
  Forrest County Center courses include geometry, calculus IV, English composition II, college study skills and college algebra. Weekend classes include American history I, first aid/CPR, general psychology, world civilization and personal/community health.

  Second-term, eight-week online classes include computer applications in business and industry, principles of biology II lecture and lab, English composition I and II, world geography, world civilization II, first aid/CPR, beginning algebra, intermediate algebra, college algebra, Spanish I and general psychology. Four-week online classes include art appreciation and world literature I.

Each community college president is asked to bring two (2) wrapped door prizes, minimum value of $50 each. We will have a station set up at the conference for you to drop off the door prizes.

Each community college is asked to provide name tags for their Board members, administration, and staff attending the conference.
