Employee Responsibilities

Employee Responsibilities

As a member of the Wildcat Community, we encourage you to be mindful of your choices and how they impact the community at large. Students look to faculty and staff as models of appropriate behavior.

These steps can help us all “Go Far Together.”

Respect Others
We are all asked to be respectful of our peers and their individual decisions. While they may not all be the same, the overall health and wellbeing of all members of the entire institution is of the utmost importance.

Be considerate of those who are taking precautions. If someone has chosen to wear a mask, please maintain social distancing or wear a mask when approaching them.

Face Coverings

  • Check the current COVID-ometer on the website daily to see whether masks are encouraged or required.

Self-check temperature & Symptoms
All employees should self-check their temperature before coming to work each day. Any employee who has an elevated temperature or exhibits the symptoms of COVID-19 as outlined by the Center for Disease Control should do the following:

  • Contact your healthcare provider
  • Contact your supervisor
  • Do not return to campus until you have been symptom-free for 24 hours

Positive COVID-19 Tests and/or Direct Contact
Any employee who tests positive for COVID-19, or comes in direct contact with someone who has tested positive, should do the following:

  • Contact your supervisor
  • Complete the COVID Reporting Form (only for positive tests)
  • If a positive COVID-19 test is obtained, isolate per CDC guidelines
  • According to the CDC, quarantine if you have been in close contact (within 6 feet of someone for a cumulative total of 15 minutes or more over a 24-hour period) with someone who has COVID-19, unless you have been fully vaccinated. People who are fully vaccinated should follow the current CDC recommendations found at When to Quarantine.

Obtain a Vaccination
If an employee is interested in being vaccinated, visit Vaccines.gov to find a local vaccination site. PRCC will notify you of any pop-up vaccination clinics on the PRCC campus.
