Lady Wildcats suffer tough loss to Co-Lin in OT
POPLARVILLE – Pearl River Community College stood toe-to-toe with one of the perennial powers in the MACJC, but came up a little short in the end.
Copiah-Lincoln outscored the Lady Wildcats 10-5 in overtime to hand PRCC a 63-58 defeat in women’s basketball action Monday night at M.R. White Coliseum.
Pearl River dropped to 10-5 overall and 3-4 in the South Division. Co-Lin improved to 14-2 and 5-2.
Early in the game, it looked like the rout most people expected, as the Lady Wolves twice built a 10-point lead, at 13-3 and 18-8.
