A: The majority of online classes at PRCC use an eBook. The eBook is available in the course located in Canvas. Purchasing textbooks for online classes follows much the same procedure as for traditional classes. The Student Profile provides only textbook information for online classes that have been pulled in from another community college. Students are responsible for making sure they have the correct textbook(s).
The student should have the textbooks required for online courses in his/her possession on or before the day online classes begin. Students must use the exact ISBN for the text rather than simply the title of the text. Many "textbooks: are bundles which include access codes. Used textbooks purchased from online vendors, other bookstores, or other students are not guaranteed to have the proper access codes. Be mindful of the fact that many textbooks change from semester to semester due to requirements from the publishers. Students can view PRCC online class textbooks at bookstore.prcc.com.|back to top|
