POPLARVILLE - The Mississippi State University Chamber Ensemble will present at recital at 10:50 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 1, at Malone Chapel on the Pearl River Community College campus.
The group is composed of faculty members and two students. The program will include Nocturne Op. 27, N.1 in C-Sharp Minor by Chopin; Movement 7 of Polychromatic Diversions for Clarinet by Ronald Caravan; two movements from Preludes from Book I by Debussy; and three movements from Trio N. 2 for Clarinet, Bassoon and Piano by Bill Douglas.
Members of the ensemble are:
- Drew Crenshaw and Emily Hobson, senior music education students from Brandon.
- Sheri Falcone, MSU instructor of clarinet and saxophone.
- Dr. Denise Rowan, principal bassoonist with the Starkville/Mississippi State University Symphony Orchestra and a teacher at Starkville Christian School.
- Rosangela Yazbed Sebba, associate music professor at MSU.
The concert is free and open to the public.
