There are two options for taking the ACT test at Pearl River Community College.
Option One – The National ACT test results are accepted by community and junior colleges as well as by all 4-year colleges and universities in the U.S. National ACT scores may be used for NCAA Athletic Eligibility and for MTAG. Please visit the ACT website at http://www.actstudent.org for registration and additional information.
The National ACT is administered on the Pearl River Community College Poplarville Campus and on the Forrest County Center located in Hattiesburg.

Option Two – The Residual ACT test scores WILL NOT transfer to other colleges and can only be used by PRCC. The Residual ACT CANNOT be used for MTAG. The Residual ACT test is limited to students who have:
- Graduated from high school or have completed and passed the GED
- Applied for admission to PRCC or are presently enrolled at PRCC
The Residual ACT is administered on the Pearl River Community College Poplarville Campus.
