A student may earn an Associate in Arts (AA) degree in one of the following ways: (1) Complete a minimum of sixty-two hours* to include the thirty-seven hour basic core curriculum with an overall grade point average of at least 2.0. A maximum of four activity hours may be applied toward the degree. Or (2) Complete one-half of a baccalaureate program of student found in the catalog of an accredited college or university.
In order to receive the Associate in Applied Science (AAS) diploma, a student must complete the prescribed course of study as listed in the catalog with a minimum grade point average of 2.0. Click here for a list of the AAS technical programs.
A minimum of twenty-five percent of the required hours for a degree must be completed at Pearl River Community College.
